I just knew that my cousin gonna study for the shoe design, frankly i quite envy on him.I've been working in a men shoe's company for 3 years but i have learn nothing knowledge about shoe.Maybe i'm not worked as shoe designer and i have never study about it before. But i still hope my cousin will success on it. :)
Ok,back to the topic.I heart for Victoria Spruce SS 2012 Collection.
Victoria Spruce is a footwear designer, originally from Kent but now based in London. Victoria has recently graduated with an MA in Womenswear Footwear from Royal College of Art (2011), and has always been inspired by architecture, sculpture and structure, which is clearly visible throughout her footwear collections. Emphasized by her use of hard materials combined with soft leathers, she gives a vivid contrast between the traditional and the new. Also evident throughout her collections, is the belief that the upper and heel should be thought about as one, and not 2 separate pieces that are joined at the end. This is emphasized further by the fluidity of line that Victoria uses consistently to create organic, flowing shapes that evolve around the foot.
The Victoria Spruce SS 2012 collection definitely shows off the Royal College alum’s talent. She creates visually stimulating pieces of art that are sure to impress your feet.
With a million twists featured on each shoe, the abstractness of each one knows no bounds. The colors of the designs in the Victoria Spruce SS 2012 collection are muted down and subtle to balance the extravagant style of each one.
You can read the interview here, and enjoy more looks of her drool-worthy shoes on the flip. Victoria Spruce (site launching soon) .
