The LEGO Build With Chrome Project

Putting together a large-scale toy brick structure at home without first being able to visualize how the pieces will fit together can be a bit tedious but the LEGO Build With Chrome project lets you plan out and construct your creation without having to take apart your progress if you make a mistake.

Developed to showcase the speed and virtual interactive qualities of Google Chome and celebrate LEGO’s 50th anniversary in Australia, the game lets users virtually construct brick structures on real plots of land. Once you select the area in either Australia or New Zealand that you wish to build on, you can then start putting your creation together out of digital LEGO bricks—so long as it is not offensive or a direct copy of another person’s design.

After you are finish building, you can save your progress and plot it on the map for others around the country to see.

Holga iPhone Lens By Photojojo

Instead of buying a ton of lenses for one’s smartphone camera, one can simply purchase the Holga iPhone Lens by Photojojo that comes as a rotating ring of lenses that can be attached to the back of an iPhone. The fixture has a multicolored lens that can rotate above the iPhone’s actual camera lens and provide various tints to photographs. Some colors even have outlines of shapes such as hearts to add further interest to a photograph’s focal point.

It is made to fit right at the back of the phone and does not add much size so it can still be left in one’s pocket when idle. There are nine different lenses to rotate, making this accessory well worth it as it can do much more than any regular tinting app can do at the moment.

Mimic is an experimental video directed by Lucio Arese with music of Yu Miyashita.

An hyperdense block of objects driven by music collides, collapses, spread into random formations and disintegrates at frantic speed.

Shot into a cattle market, the film rides the verge between nonsense, random noise and organic, structured audiovisual events, enhancing the plastic clashes of a digital inserted foreground into an old and rusty environment.

Humorous, lunatic, cartoonish, nightmarish, Mimic is an attempt to reach a complete unity between music and motion picture in an epoch of violent changes.

Vans Iphone Case

The Vans iPhone case is one of a kind. The iconic shoe company recently put out a promotional design inspired by their classic shoe's soles. In fact, if one were to look just at this pattern, they could be forgiven for thinking it was actually a shoe.

The side of the casing even mirrors that which is found on Vans shoes. The clean white trim encases the phone, contrasting surprisingly well with the brown, waffle-like pattern on the broad sides to produce a retro 70s aesthetic that yet maintains modern sensibilities—it is an iPhone case, after all.

Originally, the case was to be simply a one-off promotional design. Then a few bloggers got wind of it and lobbied the skater clothing and accessories giant to make more.

It’s currently sold out from all Vans stores, but can be found on eBay for around rm100++

The BMC Impec Automobili Lamborghini Edition Racing Bicycle

The BMC impec Automobili Lamborghini Edition is a two-wheeler that will afford its owner some serious bragging rights.

A joint venture between two of the biggest names in cycles and sports cars, the cycle boasts unbranded carbon fiber rims and a suede seat. It is an upscale reworking of BMC’s Aventador LP 700-4, with few revisions and a far higher price tag. The luxury cruiser will set purchasers back almost $30,000, which is cheap in the world of the high-end sports car company, but steep for a foot-peddling variety of vehicle.

The black and orange number is as elusive as it is decadent, as only 30 of the racing bikes will be released to the public. While it doesn’t seem to offer anything overly spectacular in terms of riding or handling, anyone who has dreamed of cruising around in a Lamborghini but doesn’t quite have the cash flow to afford it may consider picking one up.

Hello Kitty Eva Airline

A full-scale Hello Kitty travel scheme has been launched by the Taiwanese company Eva Airlines. Passengers aboard the feline-themed shuttles will get the chance to travel between Taipei, Fukuoka, Nartia, Sapporo, Incheon, Hong Kong and Guam, all the while entertained by the highly praised fictional Asian character. This imaginative venture has been approved by Sanrio, the very company that holds the rights to the iconic Hello Kitty label.

The Hello Kitty images emblazoned on the A330-300 airbuses are only a part of the overall feel of the project. Those who opt for this method of transportation will be met with Hello Kitty boarding passes, meals and self check-ins. Large light installations and ornate cat-ensconced headrests have even been put on by the crew, allowing the cat motif to seep through every imaginable avenue of the Taoyuan International Airport.
