Holga iPhone Lens By Photojojo

Instead of buying a ton of lenses for one’s smartphone camera, one can simply purchase the Holga iPhone Lens by Photojojo that comes as a rotating ring of lenses that can be attached to the back of an iPhone. The fixture has a multicolored lens that can rotate above the iPhone’s actual camera lens and provide various tints to photographs. Some colors even have outlines of shapes such as hearts to add further interest to a photograph’s focal point.

It is made to fit right at the back of the phone and does not add much size so it can still be left in one’s pocket when idle. There are nine different lenses to rotate, making this accessory well worth it as it can do much more than any regular tinting app can do at the moment.

Instagram Socialmatic Camera

Polaroid and lomography fanatics will be salivating over the Instagram Socialmatic Camera by ADR Design. Although the design is still just a concept, Instagram diehards would jump at the opportunity to test these snappy cameras out. Considering the recent acquisition of Instagram by Facebook, this captivating social network-inspired equipment might not be a far-fetched idea.

The pocket-sized camera is equipped with WiFi and bluetooth for instant uploading to the world wide web. There is ample storage space to keep all those precious snapshots safely stored. The feature-packed camera also has interchangeable lenses that allow photographers more control over their compositions.

The built-in color printer allows snappers to physically publish shots instantly. The polaroid-like prints are stamped with a QR code that directs viewers to its digital counterpart. The Instagram Socialmatic Camera brings the social network giant to life by allowing photographers to virtually and physically share their work.

Polaroid Z340 Instant Camera

The Polaroid Z340 Instant Camera is a mixed breed device that gives you the benefits of both analog and digital photographic methods. With traditional Polaroid cameras, once you take a picture you have to immediately print it out; the Z340 fixes that problem by incorporating a digital screen and editing features into the device. This means you can have a look at your shots and fix them as you please, before you print them. The device also allows you to insert an SD card, which is great for storing your pictures.

By putting a new twist on an old idea, the Polaroid Z340 Instant Camera is a great device for those who love the look and feel of the old-school, but enjoy the benefits of advanced technology.

The iPhone Lens Dial By Photojojo

The iPhone Lens Dial
If your iPhone photo options are limited to the post-snap editing of Camera+ and Intstagram, it’s time to take your camera-phone game to a whole other level. The iPhone Lens Dial looks like Rick Moranis went all “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” on one of those swinging sight checkers at the eye doctor’s office (it’s apparently called at “phoropter,” but we like “swinging sight checkers” better). With the iPhone Lens Dial, you’ll get a wide-angle, fisheye and telephoto lens all packed into an aircraft-grade aluminum case for your iPhone. The case is even equipped with two tripod mounts so you can steady your shots. Just make sure you get your eyes looked at with a swinging sight checker first so you can see what you’re shooting.

Lomokino Movie Camera

Lomokino Movie Camera
Seeing as how everything else is going all “vintage” these days, it was only a matter of time before even photography took the plunge. Technically that would have been a more fitting statement to make around a decade ago, but you get the idea. Lomography is here and it’s not going anywhere any time soon. It makes sense if you think about it though. The pictures come out fantastic, they’re fun cameras to play with and they aren’t all that expensive. Sure, you have to deal with getting film developed, but it’s something you can actually touch (you’ll have to upload them to “like” it) and there isn’t a $1000 price tag. The latest Lomo camera is this Lomokino Movie Camera. Throw in a roll of 35mm film, crank the handle, shoot a 144 frame movie.

Get it here.

Nikon Lens USB Speaker

A must have item for Nikon fans,so obviously a speaker that looks like a Nikon Lens isn’t going to fly under our radar. (Even if it is cost $19 on eBay.) At first glance the Nikon Lens USB Speaker really looks just like a Nikon lens, until you notice the play and skip buttons. It’s a replica, rather than a real lens that’s been converted (which is why it’s on eBay for 19 bucks rather than etsy for several hundred). The speaker supports microSD cards and connects to your audio device of choice. It’s also got about 3-4 hours of battery life and charges via USB.

‘The Big Hands’ by Nikon 1

One of the coolest marketing campaigns hit the world in a big way when ‘The Big Hands’ by Nikon stunt was recently executed in several European cities.

The camera kingpin kept the world in suspense when they erected massive sculptures of hands emerging from what looked like broken ground in a position of mystery.

Each set of hands was posed as if they were to be holding something and no signage was added to appease the question of passersby.

The Twitter world took a gamble at what the empty molds might be wordlessly waiting for in Warsaw, Milan, Stockholm, Berlin, Paris and even Covent Garden until, overnight, the hands were filled with massive replicas of the Nikon J1.

Causing the cities to stir with branding buzz and turning a revolutionary reveal into an interactive marketing win, Nikon did a great job—I’ve got to “hand it” to them.

Nikon 1 Series Cameras

We love our DSLR to the point that any normal person would probably consider it unhealthy, but even we don’t take it everywhere. Even if you can cope with the size constraints (you have to have all your lenses with you all the time), you’re always worrying about whether or not it will get broken and eventually coping with an angry back. If you don’t want to deal with that you have two options: point-and-shoot or Instagram. Cell phone pics used to be the defacto answer to that, but now there’s a point-and-shoot that’s actually worth carrying around – the Nikon 1 Series. Available in J1 and V1 flavors, each point-and-shoot camera has interchangeable lenses and a 10fps autofocus along with the ability to shoot full HD 1080P video. It’s the M1 to your full-size DSLR M5. Just as fast and just as awesome in a slightly smaller package.

The Batmanning Meme Takes Planking to New Heights

Due to the popular planking photography trend,horsemaning.. now these was another newer photography trend called Batmanning Meme to takes on planking.

Daredevils and comic connoisseurs alike will appreciate the new and very extreme Batmanning meme which is taking the Internet by storm.

This collection of crazy clips filmed by the Batman Boilers will leave you in awe. The group of determined men wasn’t impressed with the popular planking phenomenon, and craved something more daring. They developed their own meme in honor of their favorite superhero and are encouraging people to take part.

The Batmanning meme encourages participants to hang upside down on ledges of all sorts, resembling bats. The Batman boilers have taken this meme to parking garages, trees and even swinging gates. This superhero sport definitely isn’t for the lighthearted; some of these hanging houdinis dangle dangerously from great heights.

You’ve got to be a little batty to take part in this extreme Batmanning meme.

Real Time Super Mario by NullPoint84 Photographs

The Super Mario video games are so prevalent in society that Reddit user NullPoint84 probably didn’t even need to encourage anyone to participate in these Coin Block captures. In fact, all he most likely needed to do was simply sit back and wait as people were baited in by the mere sight of the highly recognizable Super Mario Coin Block.

Not only did NullPoint84 photograph these playfully candid shots, he also handmade the iconic question mark boxes himself. These Coin Block captures are simply a reward for all the hard work he put into this Nintendo-celebrating project. The shoot alone shows just how big a role this popular Nintendo game played in many people’s lives.
T
he Coin Block captures will surely inspire some to dust off their console and play a game or two.
