Instead of buying a ton of lenses for one’s smartphone camera, one can simply purchase the Holga iPhone Lens by Photojojo that comes as a rotating ring of lenses that can be attached to the back of an iPhone. Designer duo Ekkachai Klomcharoen and Thepsawarin Tapienthong have now released their first two collections of wood-faced watches with clean-cut simple designs: “Purify” (B900) features natural-colored ash wood and a white body while “Clear” (B1,000) is made with bleached ash and oak and has a metallic body. The watches are not water resistant (but it does keep the prices cheap). Reading marketing copy like “the simplest and most intuitive product ever” in relation to an electronic device that interfaces wirelessly with other electronic devices seems a little misleading at first. What happened to all the bells and whistles and lights and knobs we’re used to seeing on these sorts of things? What about the huge subwoofers and the .1 Dolby notations that we stopped paying attention to years ago? Turns out you actually don’t need any of it. The designers behind Kickstarter’s newest gem, the Hidden Radio & Bluetooth Speaker have developed a speaker and bluetooth system that is as easy to operate as a jar of spaghetti sauce. Twist to turn it on, and then pull it up to increase the volume. There’s also a 3.5mm jack and radio built in to the little speaker that somehow also gets 30hrs of life on a single charge. Actually, this is probably easier than spaghetti sauce.
