NATO watch straps are nothing new. Open any popular menswear site and there’s a 90% chance you’ll end up seeing something about a Rolex, Timex or some Korean knockoff brand being outfitted with a NATO watch strap.
The Nato Straps derive from the British Military where the different regiments have each their strap colour combination. Nato straps are made of nylon and has steel buckles and there is a great variety of colour combinations. The straps have especially become popular because Sean Connery wore a Nato Strap on his Rolex Submariner watch in the early James Bond films.
I think i shall get one for my watch instead of the broken leather strap.
