TAITO Corporation has teemed up with luxury watch manufacturer Romaine Jerome to resurrect their very famous 1978 video game Space Invaders. Of course, this time it is in a watch form and not the actual video game. Romaine Jerome has used the very popular Space Invaders characters and transformed it into an unbelievably functioning watch.
This watch will be available in two designs and will be limited to 78 pieces. One watch is designed with three layers of pixilated 3.5 mm sized Space Invaders characters in different colors. While in the other watch the characters are in a simple black-and-white color scheme. The case is made of black stainless steel and measures 46 mm with water resistance capacity up to the depth of 30 meters. Additional features include Swiss automatic movement and power reserve of up to 42 hours.
